By the time I get to the yard on Tuesday (08/12/2020) YJ 63 ZLZ will have left for the last time.
The first new, out of the showroom, truck to serve the company, arrived on October 20th 2013.
In our time together we covered over 475,000 Km (approximately 300,000 miles,) not bad for a multi drop unit.
7 years, and a third of a million miles means we spent a lot of time together, more time in fact, than I spent with my family, so much time, that I know her better than my partner. We kept each other safe and out of harms way, discovered new places together, and generally had a good time of it.
So I put this little video together, in tribute to what I still refer to as "The Last of The Great DAFs"
